MISTRESS OF MIDNIGHT is Mistress of Ebookad!
Wow! Mistress of Midnight is #1 at Ebookad for eroticas! Whoooohooooo! This is a first for me. I mean, I had best sellers at AQP (Descendants of Darkness: Leonardo was #1 for the 2nd quarter of 2004), but not at Ebookad. Very awesome.

Thanks to everyone who gave the story a try.

Happy 4th of July!
Hope everyone has a safe and fun filled July 4th. We are having a BBQ here in hot Georgia. Heh...hubby can cook the chicken outside while I stay cool inside with a cold Coke.

Mistress of Midnight is now #2 at Ebookad. Wow! I am still in completel awe. I never expected this book to sell so well and be so well recieved. Thanks to everyone.

Don't forget, check out Another Chance, my latest release at AQP.

I'm looking into advancing my career with a full length novel and submitting to the big boys in NY. I have my eye on Kensington Brava and TOR's new paranormal line. I'm a dreamer, but a determined dreamer to make it all a reality. I may finish up Dragon Knight and submit that to see if I can make a break into the big times. Keep your fingers crossed.

Some news
Mistress of Midnight is in the top 5 Erotic Best Sellers at Ebookad. Wow! My first time to have a best seller there! Mistress ofMidnight is loosly connected to the Descendants of Darkness series as it debuts a coming Descendant, Diablo.

I am going through Raife and putting the final touches on it before sending it into AQP. The release should be right on time, so no worries there.

I am going to try and update this blog more often, hopefully everyday. So, look for the latest news here. Feel free to respond to these posts too.

Leonardo is out
Topic: New releases
I know people have been waiting (patiently and impatiently) for the release of the third installment to the Descendants of Darkness series. Well, the wait is over. Leonardo is now OUT!

Meanwhile, I am working on Raife (shame on me) and hope to have it done soon. After that, I'll be taking a short break from vampires (at least the blood sucking kind) to work on the sequel to Lady Sheba. The villian in Sands of Seduction is a type of vampire, so that should appease fans. I worked on it a bit today and this should be a quick write. I have the entire thing plotted out in my brain, I just need to get it down on paper...er...computer.

Look for the following to come out this summer:

MASKED LOVER: THE LONE RANGER - Amber Brief(TM) (ebook - short contemporary)
DESCENDANTS OF DARKNESS: RAIFE - (ebook - paranormal/vampire short story)
DESCENDANTS OF DARKNESS, Vol. 1 (trade paperback*)
ANOTHER CHANCE** - (ebook - contemporary novella)
LADY SHEBA** - (ebook - paranormal novella)
THE HAUNTING - (ebook - paranormal short story)

Until later, happy reading!

*Note: I am taking preorders for signed copies of DOD Vol. 1. It is just basicaly a list of who
wants one at this time. No money/deposit is required to just say you want one.

**Extended/revised version from the previous release.

Some updates and chit-chat
It is hotter than hel here in the South already. As my AC fights to cool things off, I'm heating things up with Raife. Let me tell you, this installment to Descendants of Darkness is going to be one hot read. It is different than the others (thank goodness) and quite entertaining. This time, the vampire is seduced into sex, and he's unsure this is the course he should take. How can he fight a beautiful Creole witch set on using him to replenish her magic?

The kids have been all whiney today, so getting much done during their aking hours is difficult. Is it a full moon or something? Sheesh. One just cries for NO REASON. *sigh*

Oh, if anyone listens to Yahoo's LaunchCast, I am on there too. My station is under my ID, marilacroix. It is mainly 80s stuff, as I was an 80s teen.

Anyway, once I finish Raife, I'll be working on Sands of Seduction. I am inspired especially when Lady Sheba is set to come out this summer.
